Description of the field site, spill history, overview
- Former dry cleaning facility in Denmark (1973-2003)
- PCE spill in 1976 → dissolved plume with ca. 400 m length evolved until 2005
- Removal of DNAPL by excavation of most polluted soil down to the top of the limestone in 2006
- Installation of a pump-and-treat remediation system in 2007: pumping with 2.5 m3/h from the upper 6 meters of the limestone (mainly crushed limestone
- Treatment of pumped water with activated carbon and reinfiltration through infiltration cassettes and an overflow well
 Extent of contaminant plume in 2006 and 2015 and location of remediation system.
